Anzac Day Parade 2023

The R.S.L. has again asked Scouts SA for assistance with the Anzac Day March through Adelaide. The organisers have asked for 60 + Scouts to carry the Unit Identification signs for the various Units taking part in the March.

As the R.S.L. has an age policy for officials taking part in the March we cannot accept Joeys or Cubs.

Interested Scouts and Venturers are asked to complete the following registration form:

REGISTRATION

14 + 8 =

As the March is during school holiday time do not use school address emails unless they can be accessed during the holidays.

Rovers and Leaders will be welcome to make up numbers if we are short of Scouts and Venturers. Marchers are expected to wear full correct uniform including stone or bone trousers and brown or black even coloured footwear.

The Anzac Day Dawn Service represents the Funeral, followed by the March through the City to the Cross of Sacrifice, which represents the gathering at the graveside of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  The Scouts are asked to participate in the March to identify the various Units both to the veterans when they arrive and to the TV stations during the March.
